Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki I & II Reiki is spiritually guided life-force energy that promotes natural healing, stress reduction, and relaxation. It is a holistic energy medicine technique, working on all levels of body, mind, and spirit. In this training you will open to the flow of Reiki energy, and learn how to to channel this divine healing gift for yourself and others. Reiki I and II are taught together during a two-day intensive and can be taken in person or on-line. Placements for Level I and II are given, and the information and techniques that are covered include: - The standard Reiki session hand positions. - Giving a complete Reiki session for self and others. - Japanese Reiki Techniques, as taught by Usui Sensei including: • Gassho meditation • Reiji-ho - developing your intuition and inner guidance • Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed • Gyoshi ho - sending Reiki with the eyes • Kenyoku - dry bathing or clearing one's energy field • Koki-ho - Using the breath to heal • Gyoshi-ho - Sending Reiki with the eyes • Enkaku Chiryo - Sending Reiki at a Distance - The Reiki II symbols, how to draw, activate, and use them, including practice time. Their many uses are explained, and inner meaning discussed - Class manual written by William Lee Rand - Class certificate The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self -treatment, practice using all the level II symbols including distant healing, and practice using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques mentioned above. While practice takes place during the class, it is imperative that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. Please commit to this additional time which should be at least once a week for several weeks, or its equivalent, to practice Reiki with one or more people from your Reiki class or with members of your family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training. Thank you for considering stepping into this incredible healing service!
